این سمینار به شکل حضوری و به زبان فارسی، از ساعت ۶ بعدازظهر تا ۹ شب به مدت سه ساعت، در قالب دو جلسه ۷۵ دقیقهای با ۱۵ دقیقه استراحت و پذیرایی میان دو جلسه برگزار میشود. برنامه تفصیلی سمینار متعاقباً اعلام خواهد شد.

About This Service
Some original permanent residence applicants whose complete application has been accepted into one of the eligible programs may be able to apply for a Bridging Open Work Permit to maintain their work permit while the permanent residence application is reviewed. Having an Express Entry profile, receiving an invitation, or simply submitting basic documents is not always sufficient for BOWP.
Eligibility
Eligibility depends on the permanent residence program, processing stage, receipt of Acknowledgment of Receipt, physical presence in Canada, current residency status and specific conditions of the same program. Usually, the applicant must be the main applicant of the case, be present in Canada and have valid status, maintained status or the possibility of qualified restoration. In provincial cases, the presence or absence of employment restrictions in the nomination letter is also important.
Some permanent residence routes do not use a bridging open work permit or have specific rules; Therefore, the exact type of case must be confirmed before proceeding.

The professional fee for this service is 1,000 CAD, which can be paid in 5 monthly instalments, interest-free.

What is a Bridging Open Work Permit (BOWP)?
A Bridging Open Work Permit allows certain principal applicants for permanent residence to keep working in Canada while their PR application is being processed.
Is an Express Entry profile or an invitation to apply enough?
No. Having an Express Entry profile, receiving an invitation, or only submitting initial documents is not always enough for a BOWP. Usually, a complete permanent residence application must be accepted under an eligible program, with an Acknowledgment of Receipt (AOR).
Do I need valid status in Canada?
Usually, you must be the principal applicant, be in Canada, and hold valid status, maintained status, or be eligible for restoration. For provincial nominee cases, any occupation restriction in the nomination letter also matters.
How much does it cost?
The Government of Canada fee is 255 CAD (100 CAD open work permit holder fee + 155 CAD work permit processing fee), which may change if IRCC updates its fees. Do protected persons waiting for PR need to provide a passport?
No. Applicants who are waiting for their PR and are protected persons in Canada do not need to provide a passport for this application.
