Permanent Residency Cancellation (Days in Canada)

Permanent residents generally must be physically present in Canada for at least 730 days within the relevant five-year period, subject to limited statutory exceptions. This service may include responding to a residency-obligation examination, preparing a permanent resident travel document application, or appealing a PRTD refusal or qualifying removal order, including humanitarian and compassionate evidence where appropriate.

The service can include answering residency obligation review, PRTD request, protest against PRTD rejection or removal order, and human reasons review. The deadline for protesting PRTD rejection is usually 60 days, and the deadline for some removal orders is 30 days. The type of decision should be reviewed immediately.
