Visitor Visa

About This Service

A visitor visa (temporary resident visa) allows eligible foreign nationals to travel to Canada for a temporary purpose, including tourism or visiting family and friends. Our services may include assessing the purpose of travel and immigration history, reviewing the invitation and financial evidence, preparing forms and supporting documents, drafting a letter of explanation, and responding to IRCC requests.

A visitor visa does not guarantee entry to Canada. A border services officer makes the final admission decision and determines the authorized period of stay.

Eligibility

The applicant must show the real and temporary purpose of the trip, sufficient financial resources, a clear plan of stay and acceptable reasons for returning. The officer may consider occupation, assets, family, travel history, duration of travel, inviting status, and immigration history in the evaluation. The applicant must also be admissible in terms of medical, criminal and security.

Professional Fees

Professional fees are determined after reviewing the applicant’s circumstances, immigration history, number of family members, the complexity of the matter, and the scope of services required. To receive an assessment and fee information, please book a professional consultation. After the assessment, the services, professional fees, and payment terms will be confirmed in a written retainer agreement.

Government processing fees, biometrics, medical examinations, translations, credential assessments, courier charges, and other third-party costs are separate from professional fees unless the written agreement expressly states otherwise.

Document Checklist

Please prepare clear, legible scans of the documents below and send them to our office. All government application forms will be completed and prepared by our team.

Completion of Online Questionnaire

  • The online questionnaire that will be sent to you by our office must be completed electronically.
  • If family members are included in the application, a separate questionnaire must be completed for each of them. Upon receiving our email, please send us the full name and email address of each family member.

Passport and Identity Documents

Invitation Letter

  • A proper invitation letter must include the full details of the host and of the invited person(s), and their relationship.
  • It must state the purpose of the visit and the exact dates of arrival in and departure from Canada.
  • It must state where the invited person will stay in Canada and the type of accommodation (the host’s home, a hotel or elsewhere), with the full address.
  • For greater credibility, we recommend that the invitation letter be signed in the presence of a Notary Public or a Commissioner for Taking Affidavits.

Proof of the Host’s Legal Status in Canada

  • Documents showing the host’s immigration status in Canada, such as a Permanent Resident (PR) Card, Canadian passport, work permit or study permit.

Proof of the Relationship or History of Acquaintance

Travel Itinerary and Accommodation

Financial Documents

  • Of the applicant and, if supported, of the host.
  • The host’s financial documents are proof of their employment and income, such as an employment letter, company registration certificate (if they own a business), pay stubs and tax returns (Notice of Assessment).

Employment Letter, Approved Leave, Business, Education, Property and Family Ties

  • Together with an official translation if the document is in a language other than English or French.

Photo, Biometrics and Medical Examination

  • As applicable.
