Document Updates After Court for Student Visa Cases

About This Service

After a successful settlement or court decision, the case usually returns to another officer for redetermination. This result does not guarantee the issuance of a Study Permit. The applicant must provide new and coherent information and documents within the announced deadline.

Eligibility

It is necessary to have a settlement letter, court order or official reopening/redetermination correspondence and meet the deadline. Academic admission, PAL/TAL or CAQ, ability, educational purpose and personal status must still be valid and up to date.

Professional Fees

Professional fees are determined after reviewing the applicant’s circumstances, immigration history, number of family members, the complexity of the matter, and the scope of services required. To receive an assessment and fee information, please book a professional consultation. After the assessment, the services, professional fees, and payment terms will be confirmed in a written retainer agreement.

Government processing fees, biometrics, medical examinations, translations, credential assessments, courier charges, and other third-party costs are separate from professional fees unless the written agreement expressly states otherwise.

Completion of Online Questionnaire

  • The online questionnaire that will be sent to you by our office must be completed electronically.
  • If family members are included in the application, a separate questionnaire must be completed for each of them. Upon receiving our email, please send us the full name and email address of each family member.

Court Order, Settlement or Reopening Letter

New Letter of Acceptance

  • With a valid start date.

  • With proof of the source of funds.

Updated Study Plan

  • Including a documented response to the previous refusal reasons.

  • In employment, family, travel or immigration status since the previous application.

Medical Examination and Any Document Requested by IRCC

  • As applicable.
