This service can include preparation and representation in examination, admissibility proceedings, detention review, non-compliance report, removal and CBSA correspondence. The type of representation and the possibility of the presence of RCIC or the necessity of the lawyer’s cooperation depends on the stage and authority of the proceedings.

Any person who has received a letter, interview appointment, report, detention or removal document from the CBSA should immediately check the deadline and consequences of non-attendance. Providing false or incomplete information can have serious consequences. This page should not provide instructions for bypassing border control.

Professional fees are determined after reviewing the applicant’s circumstances, immigration history, number of family members, the complexity of the matter, and the scope of services required. Government processing fees, biometrics, medical examinations, translations, credential assessments, courier charges, and other third-party costs are separate from professional fees unless the written agreement expressly states otherwise.
